THE SUSTAINABILITY ISSUE
It’s with great pleasure we welcome you to our latest edition of Revive Magazine, the lifestyle magazine that celebrates all the beautiful things on offer across the North West region.
In this issue, we delve deeper into a current hot topic – sustainability – and talk to some fantastic businesses at the top of their game. Who is breaking the mould sourcing sustainable and ethically-sourced fashion and seeking new ways to maintain and protect our natural environment. We hope their helpful tips will inspire you and even challenge you, as we should all be working together, to protect our beautiful planet.
Revive magazine is as always full of inspirational stories:
We talk to one of our much-loved northern treasures Ashley Taylor Dawson, AKA Darren from Hollyoaks. He shares his passion for the North West and tells us about his mission to revive Wilmslow; the Cheshire town which holds many happy memories for him. A motivated businessman in his own right, Ashley’s entrepreneurial aspirations include reinvigorating the Wilmslow social scene at his celebrity haunt, Symposium.
The inspirational Gemma Gratton talks to us about The Bee Thrive and the importance of sustainable fashion. Gemma’s mission is to create awareness about the environmental and humanitarian impact fashion production processes can have, and to educate consumers (with a sense of urgency) to change their shopping habits to reduce pollution.
We also have an exclusive chat with Jon Fitz. It’s all reinventing the wheel with the amazing DE-TRONIC 14-piece percussion band, who have smashed onto the clubbing scene, delivering awesome creative music in an inimitable style that injects a new lease of life into the old house classics.
We hope you enjoy reading this edition. If any of the stories featured affect you in any way, remember there is always help, advice and support to be found.
Plus lots more in this edition of Revive Magazine.
