Local star Ryan Swain is set to join forces with DJ Callum Russell for a main-stage performance at this years Staxtonbury Festival.

The two DJ’s who are from Malton are currently collaborating and recording an E.P together and have already released a single called Funhouse on Spotify and iTunes which has had substantial critical acclaim online.

The set will feature some of their music and lots of clubland classics and hits. Ryan will be MCin and exciting the crowds as well as singing on the night.

Both Callum and Ryan are the first dance act to grace the main stage at the event in the history of the festival, and both have been nominated for awards in the prestigious Yorkshire Choice Awards.

Callum who currently has a regular slot at the NO.46 cocktail bar in Malton on the weekend playing all his favourite EDM and house classics.
Ryan who has been DJin and MCin for over ten years is delighted to be working Callum who is only 16 years old and say’s “It’s a pleasure to work and make music with Callum, he is a real upcoming talent and I thrive off his positive energy and outlook and enthusiasm for DJin.”

Ryan is also the specialist guest main-stage presenter at the festival on Saturday 6th July which is expected to house over 5,000 people.
