This Week, Hayley Palmer experiences the Magic of The Commitments Musical and Dancing On Ice, Filming with the Queen Of Rave and Early Mornings in the Pool!

The Commitments Musical
So I recently went to see The Commitments Musical at The Wimbledon New Theatre.

I didn’t really know what to expect and wasn’t that sure the shows background.
I really got into the storyline and their journey and all the drama that went with it And the finale was really uplifting
Its currently on tour at the moment I would thoroughly recommend going to see it
Filming with Rozalla, The Queen Of Rave.
I just filmed with the lovely Queen of Rave, Rozalla.
I have to say she has such a beautiful soul. I interviewed her over lockdown and we got on so well I thought we must follow up in real life.

I’m so glad we did, it was great to hear about her new singles, She released a Christmas single that was in the Heritage Chart and has another single coming out soon.
Her single Everybody’s free really reminds me of my school disco days. It brings back so many memories of rushing to the dance floor. Its such a great iconic track that’s been around 30 years which makes me feel really old.
We filmed at Beaufort house in Chelsea and we had a cup of coffee afterwards.
Follow Rozalla on her Instagram and website to fund out more details.

Dancing On Ice.
So there is a new series of Dancing on ice that’s starts on ITV this Sunday, I’m really excited about it.

I think it’s one thing doing Strictly but another going on the ice in front of a live studio audience. That must be absolutely petrifying.
I am routing for Patsy Palmer, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, Joey Essex and John Fashanu. It’s a great line up this Year.
The professionals make it look really easy but I know just from going on the ice at winter wonderland, it’s much harder than it looks. Absolute respect for anyone going on Dancing On Ice.
I will definitely be tuning in from my sofa.
Swimming In The Dark (almost)
I’ve recently been making it my mission to go to the gym at 6am, so I have been setting my alarm for 5am.

In the darkness, it’s an absolute killer. I think it might be easier in the summer.
When you leave your house walking down a dark road, it’s a bit scary. But when I get to the gym and get in the pool, I feel absolutely amazing, and you come out and feel a million dollars, and you’re ready to start your day (but I do feel a bit tired in the afternoons).
Well, that’s it for this week; tune into Music and Memoirs on Channel Box, Freeview 271 or the app to watch Antony Costa at 9pm this Saturday. have a great week.
