WELCOME

This is my first weekly column for The Revive Magazine. As I write, I’m sat in 30 degrees heat, sweat pouring down my face but mustn’t complain as we Brits love to talk about the weather, don’t we?

It’s lovely to be part of this and hope I can share some of my world with you. The highs, the lows and funny bits (there’s always something that happens to me).

It’s not you, it’s me.

I had the pleasure of interviewing the lovely Camilla Sacre-Dallerup this week. Camilla was a Pro Dancer from Strictly Come Dancing and in the sixth series, won the Glitterball trophy with Actor Tom Chambers. How fabulous, who can forget that!

Camilla is now a successful Life Coach, who lives in L.A (I’m jealous!) and we chatted lots about mindset and learning to love yourself. I found our chat on and off-air so inspiring. So much so I’m obsessed with Camilla’s book called  “It’s not you, it’s me”  – it’s well worth a read and just what I needed to help me through the waves of emotions in lockdown.

You can catch Camilla on my Show “At Home with Hayley” 7pm on Wednesday 19th August on SKY TV 376/FREESAT 516/FREEVIEW PLAY 264

It’s a Fun House!

Pat Sharp will be joining me on my Memory Lane 80’s Show and yes it is a funhouse. I had to mention how I would run back from School not to miss an episode (although I do think I was showing my age). Pat chose his favourite 80’s songs and he’s had some brilliant stories to share about his song choices, in particular AHA, “Take On Me”.

Pat’s book “Re-run the fun, my life as Pat Sharp” is out in October and is based on an (Un)true story which sounds intriguing. Watch this space

You can catch Pat on “Memory Lane 80’s” Saturday 22nd August, 9pm on SKY TV 376/FREESAT 516/FREEVIEW PLAY 264

Puppy love

Suki the puppy
Suki the now-famous puppy

There’s a new edition to the Palmer Household, Puppy Palmer AKA Suki, and I’m absolutely smitten.

She’s very cute and stops me from getting my work done.

If anyone has any puppy tips do let me know.

I have a feeling I’m too much of big softie.

A Wilde time!

I had the pleasure of visiting Kim Wilde, Marty Wilde and Roxy Wilde last week.

We filmed in Kim’s fantastic garden for a special show coming very soon.

It was great to talk about things past present and future with lots of tea and cake and more cake. (I don’t even know when to stop.)

Marty doesn’t have any plans of putting his feet up. His new album called ‘Running Together’ is out in October and he’s preparing to hit the road next year with a 50 date tour.

Join me next week for more celebrity updates.

Warmth and happiness, Hayley x
